We want to share some of the magical transformations that happen when waste wood comes to our workshop. Head Woodpecker Erik Uebel has been busy designing a range of pet beds. Using reclaimed timber gives them a rustic appearance that gets better with age, and because they’re hand made they can be tailored to fit all creatures great and small! There’s even the option of adding your pet’s name for that personal touch.
Projects like these help us to upcycle timber so instead of going to waste or heading for the chipper, it becomes a new product for local people to buy. We incorporate carpentry techniques that are simple but effective, meaning that vulnerable people volunteering with us can get involved and have the satisfaction that comes from creating something beautiful that people want to buy.
